These are simple, yet highly functional and aestetically pleasing soft glass water pipes. Standing at 6" tall, they are small enough to be portable, yet big enough to make your hits much smoother than a traditional pipe. They also make great vases.
Soft glass, AKA soda-lime glass, is not really soft at all, but actually has a much lower working temperature compared to “hard glass,” which is better known as borosilicate glass. Soft glass’s “glass transition temperature,” which is the point where it becomes molten enough to work with, is a cool 1,063 degrees Fahrenheit. Borosilicate glass, on the other hand, only starts to bend at 1,520 degrees! Hence, soft glass.
